Trail to Castle Dale
After receiving a new Emery County OHV Trail Map, I noticed there was trail that looked like it hooked Huntington to Castle Dale. After looking in Google Earth I plotted a course and took off from home with my Dad.
After taking some wrong turns, we finally got onto the right trail.
The trail passed below Red Point before it turned South East, the trail was slow going with lots of rocks in the way.
After about 5 miles we came to a steep hill. To make it down safely, I had my dad hold the back end while I slowly drove down.
After the hill the road was clay hills and easy going. A half mile from the hill, we came to an intersection and decided to not go to Castle Dale and head home. There was the occasional hill along the way but soon we reached the canal. Just a short way from the canal the trail turns to nice gravel road.
My rims took a beating along this trail, the rims were beat up when I first got my ATV but now I think I need to start looking for some new ones.
