Potter’s Pond
The weather has been rather hot, so a trip up the mountain was neccesary. We went fishing and geocaching at Potter’s Pond. The mosquitoes were out and we had left our bug spray sitting on the table at home. We first arrived and inflated the rafts.
After inflating, we floated over to Treasure Island and found the geocache. We paddle around for a while and then shored up to do some fishing. I cast out some power eggs and got some bites but none wanted to take the bait. My brother was using a Jake’s lure and landed a small albino trout.
That was the size of most fish. There were some smaller fish. We caught and released at least 10 fish. There were albino and rainbow trout. These fish were fun, they would jump and but up a good fight.

It was nice to get out of the heat for a day. We had fun paddling around and catching some fish. I need to get my atv tire fixed and come back and do some riding and camping.

Hello, just came across your blog this evening. I love fishing stories and you also have some very nice photos of your experiences. Hope you don’t mind but I added your link to my blogroll over at my Idaho TroutHunter blog.
